Cav injection pump

May or may not be injection pump trouble. What brand fuel filters are on? If NAPA/WIX did an extra O ring get placed into the filter top outer groove next to the sealing lip? That's the filter INLET, and must remain open. If an O ring is placed in that groove the fuel WILL be restricted, or shut off completely. Lots of calls made to correct that mistake..

Pretty much guessing without all the info. What is the whole story? Was it running fine and this just started "out of the blue"? Did you change fuel filters and it started doing this? If so Dieseltech and ptfarmer likely have the answer if you used the WIX/NAPA type fuel filters shown; that is a common problem if people are not aware of the sealing arrangement. Or did something else happen?

Ran fine when parked. Got on it the next day and cranked it idles fine but when it is throttled up there is no change.

Have you checked the linkage all the way from throttle lever to injection pump to see if something came unhooked or is slipping?

Like Jim.Me said, check the linkage. Move the lever on the pump manually. Its the lever pointed to by the blue arrow. If it works when you move that lever, then
something is broken in the linkage. If not, then something is wrong internally in the pump

I repair lots of pumps that come in with sticking internal parts, usually rust from water in fuel, or bio-diesel snot are the two main causes. A complete tear down, cleaning, and calibration test gets most working fine again..
