Saw this on another site, and it made me chuckle. If you've never worked livestock, this might not make sense, but I'd bet most of you get it.

I was thinking of carrying a walking stick but I think your idea would work even better. First tap, then zap. I actually have never used one of those prods for moooving cows, just a cow cane.

I got my laugh for the day. I've been thinking of buying one of those so maybe I should be looking for a longer version rather then a standard short model. It would serve a dual purpose.

I thought that maybe a tazer with the copper wires would be okay, but I think the refills are too expensive. Also, if people are in a flood like zombies a person would be overwhelmed. Perphaps a bulk container of pepper spray or a garden propane weed burner.

I was in a big box grocery store the other day when I noticed all these X's on the floor around the check lanes. I asked an employee about it, she said "Social distancing of 6 feet". I like yours better, especially when some fool is standing there coughing without covering their mouth.
