New Holland TL100A

I'm seeking input on this tractor. I have never owned a New Holland tractor, used mostly IH and have a JD 4300 utility tractor. I have a need for a larger newer....but not brand new...tractor that has a
good heavy duty loader and will handle the 15ft Bush Hog bat wing mower. Currently using an IH 806 on the Bush Hog. Thoughts please?

How close is your nearest dealer and how well do you get along with them? That's what makes the difference. I believe those tractors are of the early 2000's vintage. By that time all tractors are built about the same with many of them being built in the same plants. So the only difference is the dealers and the color of the paint. Do you like the blue color?

Engines are very tough. Start remarkably well in cold weather. It is very important you keep your foot off the clutch pedal, because 'riding' it on these fiat clutches wears them really quick. The a models are newer and have a better reputation. The models with the electronic shuttle have had some problems with wiring. I really like mine.

We are running a 2wd 7635 and a 4wd TL100 year round in our haying, Bush Hogging, winter feeding applications--the 3.9L Iveco engines are very good--adequate power and fuel efficient-the 2wd has the 24 speed trans I use for baling-extra gears are nice--the TL100 is a 12 speed--both are great--ride nice and have good visibility--AND no computers--I would buy either one again with no worries--and my 3155 Deere sits idle ,except for Bush Hog duty when I need a bit more HP

Fiat design, fairly solid tractor. You can get it in CaseIH colors and decals too as the JX-U and Farmall U series.

I want to thank everyone for the input on this tractor. I do indeed have a dealer near me and in this case, I knew the guy who had the tractor I bought today (yes Charlie, the one on the sale today) and knew he took good care of everything he had. It came with a 820TL loader and 2500 hours. I'm not sure yet if it is a 2006 or 2007 but it was used mostly for haying. I live @ 6 miles from the sale so I drove it home afterwords in a misty rain and 39f outside.....but it darn nice inside that cab. Thanks again everyone.
