Where are you all getting your small engine parts? Too many issues with Amazon lately, and I wont do business with Jacks any longer due to the fact they kept messing up fragile parts, and blaming me for it. Nobody local anymore other than mower dealers, and most of them cant/wont get parts for other brands, etc. The ones that will cant ever seem to find or order the right parts.

I run them till they don't start them junk them. Not much of a fix and don't like working on them either. They're kind of like a GM never do run right so make a wagon of them.

Amazon, ebay, or small engine repair in town.
I needed a new carb for champion generator. I got one from either amazon or ebay. No issues. Best thing, it came from China with a screw like old carbs to adjust idle mix. So deal with ebay or amazon. geo.

I have had good luck with these people. I have even got appliance parts from them.

Well, if the genny its attached to wasnt still good, I might do that. This latest round with Amazon has me pizzed, and I dont do ebay.

As I mentioned, I have been having issues with some the the stuff I bought recently on Amazon, and I dont do ebay. Im still hoping Amazon will step to bat this time and correct the last order I made.

I've used smallenginewarehouse.com, with good results. You might at least check ebay, and see if someone has it, if you strike out at the few places you seem willing to deal with.

Yes, I buy a lot of stuff from repairclinic.com, but appliance and HVAC parts only. I usually order online, then pick up. It's pretty much impossible for an individual to buy HVAC parts from wholesalers these days, and the appliance parts places rarely have what I need.

Tenant called me last winter on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of a snowstorm. No heat, and there was pretty much no chance to get anyone to make a service call. So I went there myself, determined the igniter was bad, ordered it online, drove 45 minutes to pick it up and 45 minutes back. Got the furnace up and running, although I was on the road most of the day. Without repairclinic, I'm not sure what I would have done.

This particular one is a Briggs on a generator. At the moment, all I need are 2 studs that hold the carb and air filter cover on to the manifold, (the ones with the lip that tightens the carb, then threaded on the end for the air filter cover) but Amazon has made it right, well the seller got in touch with Amazon and got it fixed for me. I should have my 2 new ones tomorrow.

I Don't like eBay but with where I live and what I do it's necessary
NAPA will have your parts.
Most auto parts stores and most ag stores can order your parts.
You just have to justify the extra cost and aggravation - and the aggravation comes no matter how you approach things.

Primarily Ebay as it is rare occurrence that what I need isn't listed at fair prices. I look no further unless it isn't listed there.

If you go to Briggs Stratton Engines on your Computer & type in the Engine Model & Type you can get a parts manual to show the brake down of the parts by Part number . Might be able to get them from Napa as they carry some parts or they can tell you where to get them .
