The TPS Guidance System...

On our farm, we don't have a fancy GPS to guide us around our hay fields when spraying or fertilizing, but rely on what we call the TPS Guidance System. The video link describes (in a light hearted way) our TPS system and how it works.

Ha ha - whatever is on sale...

However, I?ve learned there is TP out there on the cheap with no cardboard core and the JD throttle handle is not compatible with it... ;-)

We used a post and a sack over it. Used to be our GPS/TPS system.

We do that too, but our fields are so odd shaped in these VA mountains, it's hard to just go in a straight line.

But that's a great trivia question on the farm for visitors. Most think that hood ornament is just that - not a marker to line-up with something on the other end of the field and drive in a straight line.

Where I live the wind would carry the TP away most of the time, before I came around for the next pass!! Mark.
