Got me again!

Woke up, looked at my phone clock and for a split second I thought I was an hour behind. Lol. Why dont they just split the difference and leave it alone.

Because you need something to complain about! When I was working I loved it, gave me more time to do things in the evening, now retired, it doesn't matter. Cell phones and other modern conveniences have made it a no-brainier. But I did hear something recently about changing it.

I never did see what all the fuss is about. Loose an hour of sleep? BFD, it's just one night and you get it back in six months. I loved it when I was working. I could be outside past nine. Retired now so it doesn't really matter.

All depends where you are in the time zone. You gained an hour in the evening, and I loose one in the morning.

Split the difference? That isn?t a bad idea. Fall back 1/2 hr in
Nov. and leave it alone. I actually like changing it in November
but it makes it pretty dark in the morning around here just
when you get used to having the morning daylight before
7am.

I have said that for years us on the east side of the time zones seem to like it where the folks on the extreme west have to get up pretty early. I sure like the extra hour in the afternoon.

Would t changing 1/2 hour be just as disrupting as changing an hour? I am not real wild about the time change but I try to take it in stride.

I just wish they'd pick one or the other--I don't really care which at this point--and stick with it.

I always thought the whole theory behind DST was rather stupid to begin with. Yet we're dumb enough to fall for it.

can get more farm work done cause don't quit cause its dark, 1 hour extra a day, don't get paid any more!

Don't even notice it. Advantage of being retired. Go to bed when I'm tired wake up when I'm not. Have no use for clocks!

The east side of the time zone it does not do the damage that it does on the west side where I live. It just makes all children have to go to school in the dark wether they ride the bus or walk to school. Is it safe fore lower grade younger kids at 6-7 years old to be out walking in the dark. When I grew up no parent would let those kids out of their sight, now it seams no parents care. It also means by the time dew is off the crop to be able to start work in fields you go out and find something is broke the repair part place is already closed for the day so you loose a field work day waiting for the repair place to open next morning while your hay crop is being rained on that if you had been able to get that part you could have had the hay in the barn.
