Hi Everyone, Thanks all for your help with the hydrolic oil filters Massey 175. Im on top of that now. Have a new issue. Everyone says that the transmission and diff is linked and use the same oil. I just filled up my transmission and the diff is still almost dry. Thick black oil coming out slowly and cant find a fill plug. Can anyone please advise how to get the oil in the diff. There are 2 plugs on the bottom of diff 1 on either side. Is there a blockage somewhere do you think. Thanks in advance.

The trans and diff use the same oil, about eight gallons. Oil fill is on the shift lever cover, dipstick is on the right diff case side plate.
There are two drain plugs, one each for trans and diff case left side.

if that oil is thick and black {{{{{{CHANGE IT}}}}}}}}}}that oil is not real thick and should not be black what oil did you add ?

It's not blocked, it just takes a while to transfer back to the rear gear cases.

As advised, change it if it's black.

You can slowly fill it through the transmission top plug, but run a risk of dumping oil in the clutch if overfilled by adding oil too fast.

You can speed the process by filling through the inspection cover below the seat.
