I'm not strong enough to lift much.
So Might Moe and a chain has to do my lifting.

Lowered the bucket and front plate fell

In place.
I was able to

drag the forks in place. Used a 2x2 and stepped on end of fork to get it in place.

There should be a lock on the bottom to hold them on. May be bolted on. Usually it's a welded on flat bar that sticks out and goes over a flat bar they slide against.
 
Forget that, when I first read your post I thought you were using them and they came off. Should have been more careful in my reading.
