Yeah, this is an 89 model! They didn't change the styling much on the cab overs over the years, dad has a 72 c700 in a shed and looks about the same!

I had a truck just like that with higher sides....grain truck, gas V8 engine, forget how many "on the floor" and the year model. I really liked it but being a cabover, every time you wanted to access the engine the cab had to tilt and everything you were carrying in the cab either fell to the floor or piled up on the dashboard.

My cousin had about a 71 or 2 looked about the same that wouldn?t be a bad truck with that cat . The old gasser was good for about 30 MPT [miles per tank) loaded . My cousin had his parked on a hill and it mysteriously rolled down the hill into the canal twice ! Was going to buy still after the first time but the second time completely destroyed it

My cousins were out on a test drive in theirs and forgot to latch the cab down and they started down the hill back to the farm hit the brakes and they titled forward scared the carp right out of both of them 😂😂

Would have had a 3208 Cat, or any of a handful of Ford gas engines. Biggest hassle was the shift linkage, too many pivot points and joints, once will worn you had no idea what gear you were shifting into.

Why do I not believe you ? Have you ever looked at the cab latch on a C model or H model Ford ? Just no way that cab would tilt going down a hill.

BIL had a 59 Ford like that, 292(?) V8, straight 5 speed. Grain box and hoist maybe 4-500 bu. Never took the stick out of your hand loaded. Always had to remember to cup the shifter in your palm when going for 3rd gear or you would try punching the dashboard

I know where one is setting with the sleeper on it,I am afraid to ask about, it I really do not need another project.

First commercial truck I hauled tractors with was a '57 C750 super duty, with a 330 HD. The '57 had dual headlights.

I was really needing a truck bad and the one my cousin had the engine had been rebuilt and it ran pretty dang good had a good hoist and combination bed on it not sure why he left it parked on the hill in the first place let alone the second place ? That would make a pretty neat truck with a sleeper on it
