Went by yesterday to a preview of an on line auction being held at Flint Hill VA,2nd day of 3 preview days.Surprising how much interest there was in two old tractors been sitting for 5 years
supposedly just let sit 5 years ago.Deutz 6006 with loader and a MF 65 diesel with a side mower neither is anyone's
s idea of a show tractor,typical well used farm tractors.Several people there very interested in them about all agreed they didn't like the newer tractors with all the electronics and these are people I'd say could afford to buy about any tractor they wanted couple farmers in the bunch I know of.anyway it'll be curious to see how much they go for its Scott Auction on VA Hibid on line auctions,Foster auction at Flint Hill VA on Fodderstack RD.Auction ends around 8PM today also have a nice collection of old pocket watches and other collectables and some junk old trucks.If you're in the area preview today goes until 5PM.
 
Don't know what to think of these online auctions, had sale close to home but I was in Kansas, trying to get a combine, got one of the heads then my internet connection was gone with the wind so no combine but I got a head what good that does me! 😆
 
It's been my experience that the vast majority are "tire kickers" and/or "posers" who act all interested in something at an auction, but when it comes time to bid, are nowhere to be seen or have their hands buried in their pockets while this "great machine" sells for practically nothing.

I've never seen a Deutz 6006 that didn't look like it had been picked up and dropped upside down several times after having been rammed into every tree that came within 3 yards.
 
Its up to $705 don't know if that is good or bad pretty decent loader.Haven't decided how much to bid seems like anything under $1000 would be a good deal considering the loader.
Five different bidders so far.The MF 65 with the side mower would be pretty neat too. Think that is a little over $500 so far.
