Jubilee Oil Seal

Hi, Everyone. I've a $5,000 restoration stuck for a $5.00 part. I took out the PTO forward oil seal on a '53 Jubilee/NAA only to find I can't source another one. These would be the 799 as opposed to the 703 seal, the one that seals the differential from the hydraulics.

Any idea where such an unobtanium beast might be found?????

FIAT dba your local New Holland dealer should be able to supply the part.

Seal ahead of PTO shifter/transmission countershaft seal is part number 233274.

Seal for transmission output shaft is also part number 233274 .

233274 (replaces NAA77086A, D6NN7R240A) can be replaced by SKF 17443 from an autoparts store or industrial "bearings and drives" type supply house.

NOT sure if the original was a WIDE two-lip seal, if that was the case, with some applications it takes two of today's narrow single-lip seals installed back-to back to replace the original.

Nope, don't think so. My first foray into tractors was this fall when I bought a $750 Jubilee to restore. (Have all the parts back from the machine shop now and just finished the transmission today.)
