Said goodby to my old concrete mixer
Gave it to a family freind,
Its too heavy for me anymore,and he is younger

I did a lot of side jobs with that old mixer over the years

its at its new home now!!

Looks to be in great shape and you can tow it around at regular road speeds. Too bad they don't make one that lifts the bags of cement for you. Do you know what motor it has?

I have tools I used when I was in construction. An aluminum break, siding saw, tile cutter, nail guns, portable compressors, line laser, and more. Chances are slim to none that I will ever use them again. Just can't bring myself to get rid of them. Ya just never know. Besides, they aren't hurting anything sitting where they are.

It has a briggs and stratton motor with a reduction on the side so it turned slow enough,not the
original engine

its just too heavy for me,,,even lifting to hook it up is too much anymore,,If I Need to mix,another
freind has a 3 pt mixer for the tractor,,that would be better//if,, I Had the strength to do it at
all,,,lol

oneof my dads friends had a mixer something like that. he said any body could borrow it, but the deal was, if you borrowed it, you had to store it until
the next guy needed it.

Comes a time when we let go of equipment we no longer use.

I have the same model mixer, my Dad bought it in about 1948. The original engine was an IH hit and miss. You poured water in it and added as it
evaporated to cool the engine. Someone helped themselves to the engine so it was used with a flat belt on the 9N, Also used with various electric
motors and gasoline engines. One time we were pouring a garage floor for a friend . We used (2) 3 hp B&S engines, one wasn't powerful enough I last
used it with a 6.5 Predator engine. Engine is on the shelf in the garage awaiting the next project........

Had one at my old house, small homeowner model. After one walkway out front it was finished. Did everything I could to get it to mix just one more bag of cement but it had really had enough.
