I have, from what I?ve found with help from others,a 1964
Farmall, F 806D, serial# 8041 S-Y, 6400 hours, paint is good,
not super bright, sheet meatball is all in good cond., not all
bent up, 2 Hyd. remotes, what I believe to be, a Case 2250 ?
loader in good cond. rear tires are 60%, front tires are new,
T/A is in good working order, that I am thinking of selling. Can
anyone give me a ballpark figure on what the value is? I?ve
been online and the prices are all over the place. For one that
looks like mine are anywhere from $5000 to $13000. Quite a
range. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
 
you can put any price on it, but buyers wont be paying much over your low end price for those old tractors, even though its a good model. I don't think the loader adds any value unless a guy is specifically looking for it on that tractor.
 
I agree with rustred, that tractor will likely not bring over $7000 unless the right person is looking for one set up like yours. The 1206?s would come in the higher part of your range because they are more sought after. Where are you located, in case someone on here may be interested?
 
I'd ballpark it at $7000 to $8000, maybe a bit less because of the loader.

I've noticed sometimes having a loader on a tractor detracts from the value of the tractor. Probably because buyers can assume that any tractor with a loader on it has been clutched and shifted 'way more than usual.
 
Not too long back I bought a nice gas 806 with a cab for $3500. It has made me love 806s. I am definitely no expert but I would think $5000 would be about it. Its like I tried to explain to my brother, its too easy now for people to buy them on credit. some people don't care about the final price.They only look at a payment they THINK they can make. I had rather have an 806, JD 4020, Case 930 or 970 or some of the corresponding early 80s models as a new tractor.
