Has anyone rebuilt the touch controls on a farmall c? If so are there flat o rings in it? I rebuilt mine and cant build more than 650 psi even with a new pump.
 
Don't quite understand, if you rebuilt it, what did you take out of it and if you bought a new kit for it what was in the kit.
 
If I recall I used round O rings.
My problem is there was pits inside the hydraulic box, so mine will drip a little, nothing I could do, just add hydraulic oil.
 
Just had one apart this last week. No there is no flat or square orings in it. Did you get everything back like it was? What was the problem that made you rebuild the touch control? Is this a new problem? Was the pump changed before or after the rebuild?
 
The hydraulics worked before the rebuild but I restored the tractor so I rebuilt it like the engine. The orings I took out had just flattened after looking at them closer so round is what needs to be in there. The pump is new and after putting it back together for the 4th time it still will only build 650ish psi. It will pick up a back blade at first very slowly then after a half dozen lifts or so wouldnt pick it up at all. I'm at a loss any more advice would be appreciated
