the tractor cant get all the way to the back of the barn

I think I have a band saw just like that, but I had to build the base for it. My neighbors gave it to me when they moved away, they had it mounted on a bench.

Hey Larry - That is a good idea -- Pick it up and drive out. Nice -- I did the same thing with My snow-blower (6 foot) But I
tell You what - that was a handfull for one person to roll -- I think it needs bigger wheels to roll a with less effort. My
idea was to drive the tractor out partway and roll the blower behind and hook it up-- Works OK but I need a nap when its
hooked to the tractor -- Live and learn as I go! Roy

I did the same thing for my post hole digger, just got one of those dollies I had lying around, and bolted a pallet with 2 pieces of 5 quarter verticaly on two corners, and then another board across those with 2 supports on angle.it worked really good,no more man handling it all the time, but now I need the room so its sitting under the tree lining.but since you have the space, you can't go wrong.

This is what I did for our auger, it's about the only way I can put it on the tractor alone. After this photo was taken I welded an pad eye th the top of the frame near the balance point to hang it from. The old garage door panel keeps some of the rain off.

Larry, just a little suggestion; Wedge a board under the draft bar to stabilize it, so
that when you pull/roll the plow forward it does not tip over to the RH side, viewing
the picture and fall on your foot or leg.----------------------Loren

Larry,
I do all my moving and heavy lifting with
my terramite. Moving heavy tools from my
workshop to pole barn with terramite.
I've ordered pallet forks for the Kubota.
I may need it to move a heavy 6ft metal
brake.
This is my 900# Kubota rear ballast.
The red brick garage is my old work shop

This is my homemade leveler. It too
heavy to connect to 3 pt. Using leveler
to fill in ruts concrete truck put in
lawn.

You really need a terramite.

I sunk a rail road tie in the ground now I back up and use an old ratchet strap to tie the auger to the post and it?s easy to hook and unhook by myself now

Isn't it amazing how "age" can make one remember "wheels?" I too have done this very thing, and recently I discovered that those cheap moving platforms at Harbor Freight are rated at 1000 lbs. I can't
buy the castors for the price of the completed product. Just food for thought. Thanks for posting.

Larry,
No salt intended. You can't take it with you. Spend it and enjoy it. We aren't going to live forever. Every day is a gift. An old friend just passed yesterday. George

I'm not quite as experienced as you guys, but also have similar carts for three-point implements. It makes the nooks and crannies of the old cow barn more useful. Three-bottom Ford plow, six-foot rototiller, six-foot flail mower, auger, and more!

No this friend was older. The man with the 10 acre horse ranch is a survivor of cancer. Post beam barn is still standing. He worked inside the house this winter. The rooms he worked are looking fantastic considering the house was built in 1900. Barn was built in 1914. We stopped the barn from falling down. Only wish he had the money to put the barn back to its original glory.

I've had too many things going on to help him like I used too.

Not only did we save the barn we cleared 5 acres of a jungle. Terramite got a good workout. We cut many trees, grape vines and honeysuckle.
