This photo reminds me of what is coming up soon as the snow goes. Its been an easy winter by our standards but still cold working out in the mostly unheated work shop. I made a video of what little I've been up to on the Merc recently. I won't post the link though as it might be seen as self promoting or something. You know my channel on the tube.

I love the Merc. Every time I watch one of those shows where they chop up an oldie like that I cringe. Learned to drive on an 8N, 1950 Ford 2 door, and a 1951 ford PU.

Nice looking Merc. Looks to be early 50's, '53, '54? Body is similar to the '54 Skyliner that I had.

That's the quintessential Collie farm dog of the 50's. My Grandpa had one he called "Tojo". Why the Emporer connection I never heard. Maybe he got him on VJ day.
