I have a John Deere 3038E compact open station with 130 hrs and a rear snow blower. Have a chance to trade on a Mahindra 38 HP cab and front blower, has 30 hours on it. Belonged to a friend of mine and I have used it. Good-bad with the Mahindra? Hate to sell the JD, but the cab and heat sound good. Ron MN

personally would not go down that road, trade your unit for same color with cab be done with it, parts values etc will be way better. been several those showing up on auctions having trouble getting bids at times. last one I seen sell last march had 10 hrs on it had cab, loader, mower and tiller as package. it finally brought 2000.00 for the whole pile

The Mahandra on it's best day will only have half(or less) the resale value as the Jd on it's worst day. However, cant remember of ever hearing any negatives about Mahindra. They are a huge company that sell thousands of tractors worldwide.

The local Mahindra dealer here sells over a 100 units per year. Largest Mahindra dealer in NY. I would guess that is far more than the Kubota dealer who is next door to him sells.------------Loren

I have a 4320 JD compact with cab nephew has a 65 horse Mahindra I have had no trouble and he has had a lot small stuff but still pain in the back side. I like that cab a lot moving snow with the 84 inch blade with the heat on and the Radio on the oldies station makes for a good day. Randy

We have a 2008 4320 Compact JD. With Cab air ride seat. Would be a 4050R now. I think. Ours has 2000 hrs now. E hydro electronic cruise. Hyd top link with quick coupler. Plus loader bucket is self leveling. Reason JD's are higher.

We have a Mahindra dealer just a few miles from me and a couple of people I know have bought them and so far are very satisfied with them. I don't know about resale value but I would think if you traded it would last you the rest of your life. A cab and heat would sure appeal to me if I had to move snow plus the front mount would sure beat backing up and looking over my shoulder. A lot would depend on how close the dealer is to you. Just my two cents

I don't know and really don't want to know much about a Mahindra but I do know it was awful nice plowing snow today in a heated factory cab on my tractor. It was also nice getting warmed up in another tractor hooked to the feed grinder after grinding feed today. The best thing I've done in a while was trading two perfectly good open station tractors in on ones with factory cabs with heat, air, stereo on them.

I belong to a group called Mahindra Tractors USA. It is private group, easy to join, and you will hear all the good and bad if you are interested

I love the cab and heat for snow blowing but love the open air the rest of the year.

Never heard of a dealer in northwest Ohio or northeast Indiana. Are they still being made and if so what country? Never was any around to hear good or bad on them. I would not for parts want to be in position of looking for a needle in a hay stack. I actually don't think I ever saw one. And I am 76.
