Saw a neat trailer at ojt today

The electrical contractor I?m doing ojt at this week has a 14? electric drop deck trailer. I didn?t know there was such a thing. There?s a battery operated hydraulic pump on the trailer, just push a switch and the entire deck goes down flat to the ground. They use it as a big racketeer for the big 4? spools of cable. They just drive on the trailer with a forklift and hang the big spools on the extensions then off you go. We were running 4/0 aluminum tec cable through attics on 200A underground service entrance installs in new duplex?s today with it.

A friend of mine has got one that widens out with the touch of a switch, he collects old combine's, it's the real deal for him. I guess money can buy anything,LOL.

We had one at the new Holland dealer that would widen out to 13 feet with the push of a button

Typically here at least in Mn, they are used for hauling scissor lifts around.
