me. I just got a call that my Social Security
is going to be suspended. I forgot to press
one to find out how to get help, so you guys just
start sending money my way. Never had one of these
calls before. Glad I made their list.

I've gotten a few of those lately too,even though I'm not on SS.While I think they are fun to listen to,I can think of dozens of old folks that would get scared and nervous if they listen.They're from a different time,and really have no understanding of scams.I always felt preying on old people is as low as you can get.My wife and I have had to step in and kind of take charge of a couple of old people she takes care of.

Lady said that if I did not give Her my SS Number , I would be cut off ss until I did , She had a phone ## from Washington DC ,
I said I was Retired Military and had friends in the DC Area , that would like to talk to Her !! CLICK , Not another call !!

I recieved a scam call the other day that was entirely in some Asian language. Pretty amusing, I put em on speaker phone at work!

My 89 year old mother got one of those calls at 9pm last night. She told them her phone was acting up and hung up on them. The scammers are working overtime to be calling that late on a Sunday.

I got a call that they were coming to arrest me for Social security fraud due to fraudulent activity in my account. It kind of ticked me off , what if some senior citizen believes it .

I know you can only make $16,000 a year or they start cutting your SS at a two to one ratio. What gets me is how illegals get benefits but they would laugh me out of the office if I wanted some of that.

I guess the good thing is; as time goes by, more and more of the "older folks" are savvy and less likely to fall for those scams.

Yep, got that call a few weeks back. They're going to "cancel" my SSN because of all the fraudulent activities. Dang how'd they find out I'm laundering all my money?! Nice thing about this time of year, with the woodstove running it keeps the humidity so low it takes no time at all for the bills to dry.

On the news a few days ago. Some Sen. or Rep. from Utah lost $30-40,000.
they said yes, they are embarrassed, but maybe they can stop someone else from losing money.

They called a lady in our area, and said the last time you were in a certain store that the store accidently over charged her, If she would give the caller her bank number they would replace the money, yeah, but they cleaned it out first, she had almost 40,000 American in,it, she lost it all !!

My wife got one of those calls today. Not only are they going to cut off my Social Security they are also revoking my drivers license. I guess the drivers license isn't such a big deal since I won't have any money for gas anyway.

I feel left out! All I get are credit card crap, and a free cruise every so often. I love to mess with them, I asked if the cruise could be on the Mississippi as I could not get a passport. She put me on hold and called her supervisor He was not amused.
If we can do all the great things with computers why can they not trace the calls and stop them/ put someone in jail for a looong time. joe

Only if you draw early, I'm 64 and can't draw SS because of my income, but at 66 and 2 months I can draw full benefits and still have the same income I have now, hopefully more.
