I heard the Kubota Line of tractor are being built in Winnipeg Canada, so are the castings still poured in Japan, or they casted in in Winnipeg ?? Just curious

Heard something about Kubota buying Versatile, to get a line of high HP tractors. Just like they bought Vicon hay equipment company to get a already developed hay making equipment line. Don?t have any other details

As of the latest official information, Versatile is building Kubotas largest models, to Kubota spec.

Many rumors around.

Bruce, Actually KUBOTA did not buy Versatile, what they did do was enter into a "joint marketing venture" whereby Versatile would manufacture the M8 large tractor. What it did was take the tractor Veratile was already making and redesign the cab , clean it up a little , paint it orange and call it a KUBOTA. All the dealers are somewhat unhappy in that it does not have KUBOTA engine . Larger KUBOTA engine seems to be at least two years away. Only very select KUBOTA dealers will be allowed to sell this larger tractor. Only one or two per state.

The Russian connection might fit right in as someone here said the other day that anyone that buys a Japanese branded car was a 'commie' I guess that's apply to tractors too.(LOL)

Proof if you dig far enough and you can make anything fit your narrative!

Last I knew the Russians owned versatile but things change so fast I can?t keep up . Maybe the jappese are in on it too.
