Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone knew the procedure to get into the diagnostics area of my premium tractor to turn on the rear wiper? I?m adding one to my machine and I have to go in there to let the computer know that I have one as well.

Thank you

Joe

I imagine it will be your friendly JD dealers computer which will do the trick. Just like when I put a replacement radio in my Silverado [local GM dealer did their magic] and what I'm up against right now putting a replacement radio in our Jeep Patriot. [One dealer is floundering, calling a different one in the morning].

There is a setting in the diagnostic addressees that needs to be changed. The answer to which one is found in the diagnostics manual. No computer needed it is done on the tractor display.

Best bet for the OP is to post this question on new Ag talk or the combine forum. Much more likely to get an answer there than from this bunch of curmudgeons.

I have found and purchased the diagnostic manual for this tractor. it cost me a pretty penny but i would share copies of it to help out but id like a few dollars to help me with the upfront cost. Going to begin looking through its 6700 pages to locate my issue

Thanks to everyone for your help into this subject - both constructive and snotty comments. In a perfect world we would all get helpful replies, not dribble that comes from some.

What snotty comments?

(quoted from post at 07:19:18 02/03/20) Is the diagnostics manual available to a mere human? On paper, or other media? Pertaining to one model, or many?

As shown below tech manuals can be obtained via download,CD or printed form for substantial $$$$. I knew some JD tech manuals were comprehensive but I didn't realize some models contained ""6700 pages""!!

Yes Tx Jim the one i downloaded is 6700+ pages. ive spent some time going through it and it is a bit intimidating. I found a section on the wipers - troubleshooting and fixing them. I know I am close to the address part of turning them on and being able to use the wiring and control lever already placed in the tractor from the factory.
