They came in New on transports with three at least,, most times we had a 350 or 450 crawler on the goose neck also,, I would say I helped unloaded well over 1000 new 580CK/580B/580C tlbs from 1966 through 1976 we sold lots of them here

Yup you can get 3 on a 53 foot trailer. Not so on a 48. You can't legally over hang the ends of the trailer either on a 53 you can have up to 4 ft overhang on the back with the 48. Can't exceed 53 foot load and trailer unless that has changed in the last couple of years. With oversize permits you just specify the over hang on it.

Jack, just made a 1100 mile trip thru Mass, ME, NH,VT and back to NY. I would have been almost to FL. I am heading down, don't know just when but I want to takein FL FLY's and I see Paquette has a tractor pull about the same time. Paul and Rene are down there. I will be in touch.

I don't understand the dark place on the side rail at the drop of the top deck. I wish I had a 11 foot top deck instead of the 10 foot. I like my 17.5 tires for low deck height on my Doonan.
