Skidding next years firewood

It's 35 years old so it qualifies as an antique. L355 SS (shuttle shift). That little tractor is nimble as a goat up in the woods and strong as an ox.
I drop the trees and trim the limbs. Wait for a hard freeze to skid them to flat land. Block it all up and then split it all. Assembly line style.

The cab one is a L3600 the other one with
the tajfun winch is a L4310 both are
excellent tractors

Rick .. As good as the hundred series and then the 10 series,were the next series was the 30 series now I have a 40 series. Being a dealer for years I have watched as they just make constant improvements. Ever one of those old 100 series that front nose fell off and got crushed, yours still looks good. Lots of improvements in the cab, over the years and loader hydraulics. Good to see yours are still doing the job. The little tractor at the subject of this post was the very first OIL shuttle shift KUBOTA offered and like he said tough as nails.

I really like my L5030 with a loader and forks.
Makes making firewood easy for an old man.

Yes they definitely seem to be tough tractors I have a t4020 newholland I think a 2008 64 hp it has one problem after the next mostly minor things but things needed fixed.

It's always a victory when conditions are like that for towing them in. Ground froze up here again, bit of snow cover, very ideal to cut and skid them to ones header. I'm absent from the woods though, hadn't planned on getting so darned sick and recovery taking so long, next trip out is doctors office, then maybe some well deserved time outside.

and we wanted to get rid of some trees
north of the garden. Some trees were
tall enough to damage pole barn

Yes, I thought the hydraulics were weak, but after a few days use, everything works fine.
Gonna change the fluid and filters next month.
