Got her done late last night

I wish I had taken a picture of the floor last night after concrete finisher applied about 4 gallons of cure and seal.
It looked like it had a shinny coat of poly. Finisher cut the lines in floor early this morning.

What looks like a puddle of water is actually the reflection on sun light coming through the sky light.

I'm very happy with my finisher work. He spent 13 hours there yesterday.
He's approaching 66 and planning retirement, union pension and SS. He'll do side jobs after knee and back surgery.

I told him not to lose my number. He's done many jobs for me. Not one has cracked. So far no cracks .

I love the sky lights. best money I've spent on the barn.

Better bring a battery. I need a new battery in John Deere and terramite. Both went bad about the same time.

My concrete finisher has been doing
finishing work all his life.
He works out of the union hall for the
largest engineering firm in Terre Haute.
Firm was awarded the contract to oversee
the building of a new $60+ Million jail.

Be very careful with oil on that floor, it's worse than ice you will be down before you know what happened.
very nice shop.

You need to hope your finisher?s union doesn?t find out about him doing side jobs. Around here the unions will fine the guy and even suspend his pension.

Melting snow and ice dripping off vehicles can also make sealed or painted concrete floors very slick. Spreading sand or another traction enhancer before the sealer dries can help a lot.

I used cure and seal on my other pole
barn floor. All I found is oil doesn't
stain floor and dirt from tractor tires
soaked it up.

I wish had roller skates and was 50 years
younger.

Don't planning to park tractors inside until spring when weather permits me to have roof sprayed.

I may begin building work benches, making a loft and wire the building.

That looks great Geo. Ive built a loft in mine also been running electric and last 2 days running copper pipe for air compressor.

If you know where there s a sawmill get some of the sawdust and use as a floor dry. The dryer it is the better. Chainsaw chips will work also. Floor looks great. You done good

If it will not be cracking why cut it? Those cuts suck to run a creeper over. The guy poured my floor 20 years ago wanted to cut it. I said no the creeper will not roll over them good. We never cut it. The approach we cut in 2 places wish I had not let them do it. It cracked corner ways across it even with the cuts. It is a 6inch floor with an 8 inch approach. The floor is 32x48 the approach is 32x15. All of it rodded with no chloride.
