How do you fix a flat on a track loader?
 Stupid I know but funny non the less

Did you know 4 out of 5 people have trouble with fractions? :?:

My mom would tell me all the time, "Son there are two things in this world I can't stand .... and you're both of them!" :x

My dad always told me, "Son let met tell ya something I want you to remember and never ever forget; he'd tell me ... ua ... hold on  ua ... Awww hell never mind!

A lot of people tell me how sharp I am, But I am sure that there are people who say that I am stupid. I just hope that they will be patient with me.

(quoted from post at 12:12:07 01/14/20) I've seen/heard lots of "very knowledgeable" people say "Ya can't fix stupid!"
..and, "when you are born stupid, it lasts a long time".

Did you ever try to grease the relative bearings on a radar. That was a common "stupid" on Navy ships. A few guys would grab a grease gun and head out.

Pa used to say--you send a guy to do a job and he does the work of one man. Send two guys to do a job and they do the work of half a man. Send three guys to do a job and no work gets done at all.

(quoted from post at 11:59:45 01/14/20) I have spent years teaching some all I know and they are still stupid.
areful. Someone could take that the wrong way. :? :?

I've been told there's 3 things you can't
fix.
1. A broken heart.
2. A crack in concrete.
3. The crack in your &#$. Use your
imagination.

If you can't fix stupid let's blame
public education where sports is more
important than fixing stupid.

There are actually 3 principles you are talking about here. First one is called the Peter Principle; In a hierarchy a person is promoted to their level of incompetence where they will remain (I've seen this in business numerous times and is the reason some managers seem like idiots). Second is called the Putt Principle; A person who is too valuable to daily grass roots operations will not get promoted because the company would collapse should they leave that position so someone of lesser value is promoted instead (I've seen this once). Third is the Dilbert Principle; A person is so detrimental to daily grass roots operations that they are promoted (out of that position) to prevent them from doing more fundamental harm.

George, I had an uncle who could weld just about anything you could break. Once, I heard someone ask him if there was anything he couldn't weld. He told the guy "I can weld anything but a broken heart, and I could fix them if I find a meat rod!"

Thanks for posting that, James- I don't have one in my computer.

How are you guys doing down in NE Texas? Don't hear much about the ranch these days.

We decided not to make hay last Summer.

One neighbor and one good customer have taken over the haymaking.

Neighbor cuts, rakes, and bales.

Nancy gets her hay requirements first, neighbor gets same amount at no charge, overage is $10 per bale.

Customer cuts, rakes, and bales at $10 per bale.

Everybody is happy.

My only farm chore is filling 6 dog food bowls.

Life is good.

I retired as City inspector, and I used to tell people if you're honest, we'll get along just fine. If you're crooked, I'll catch you, so it'll be no problem. But if you're stupid, there's no hope....

I often tell people the the place I work does not follow the Peter Principal, because many of the Supervisors are FAR more incompetent than the level they have achieved.
