Signal flasher?

Will the new two terminal electronic signal flashers work on positive ground? Apparently the one I'm looking at has some fancy circuitry to make a constant flash rate regardless of the load. I'm skeptical of it.

I might have to use an old heater type and add enough load to force it to flash.

If it is turned around it should flash. It should not care where in the circuit it is. Jim

Be certain it's actually electronic. I have LED's in my old car and not enuf load to make it flash. Went to CARQUEST and bought a new flasher, which was clear. No joy; looking closer, I could see an actual set of points with the coil. They took it back and I got an actual electronic flasher, which works just fine. Bonus is it flashes at the same rate even when I'm towing a trailer that doesn't have LED's.
