Took a call today

The up side of being a small business. In 2008 a large portion of my clients fell flat on their faces and could not pay their bills. Many of these people had been with me for years. Some had helped me start my business. I kept doing their work and only had an occasional pay down of the bill. Eventually, all but one of these places fought their way back and paid me. The resulting windfall allowed me to make the balloon payment on the farm land contract easily. Almost like it was meant to be.
 
This will sure help me that?s for sure . Most will go to bills but that?s ok at Least I?ll be able to pay the bills
 
I hope it comes through. A guy owes me 2600 for electrical work from almost 2 years ago. I spent several months and a hundred or so dollars to win a judgment against him in court, just to find out he moved out of state before the court date.
 

I had a customer once, a very sweet lady, whose business finally failed. She paid me right up, and I heard later that her primary supplier lost a lot.
 
good for you, I am still trying to get refund from LEON Manufacturing for a 650 dirt scraper bought in Feb 2019. never did get the unit. it was on lot and was a carry over unit. were still having words. SO PLEASE EVERYONE ON HERE DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM OR EVEN GO THRU A LOCAL DEALER TO GET THERE PRODUCT!!!!
 
It's probably not good that I have so many of these stories, but....

I had a guy whose business failed. Owed me a couple thousand and a bankruptcy was pending. Day before they took inventory of his assets he asked me if I would like one of the legal file cabinets he had in his office. I said sure and he told me he would drop it on my driveway...no need for me to come out and talk. I figured it was better than getting nothing.

I found that file cabinet on my driveway. When I opened the top drawer there was an envelope taped inside full of cash. Every penny he owed me...plus a file cabinet. :)

I still do his personal taxes. His word is as good as gold here.
