OT wrapping tractors.

You still need decent paint under the vinyl "wrap".
Or shiny smooth metal. But I doubt any installer would advise that as it might tend to then peel off in the near future.
And it is not a cheaper alternative compared to a good paint job that will last longer.

About 10 years ago it was about $3500 to completely wrap a 1999 Tahoe in a tiger stripe motif.

(quoted from post at 14:04:33 01/04/20) Its been out for a while now on TV wrapping cars in place of painting anyone done it to a tractor?
Wrapping a sponsored race vehicle works great if the sponsor's advertising message changes regularly, or if the vehicle is subject to body damage frequently. It's all about how fast you can get the vehicle back on the track. The show car guys like them for the complex graphics you can do without hiring an airbrush guy to spend days or even weeks in the shop. Again, it's about speed and expense.

At the last place I worked they "Wrapped" the 24 ft box on the straight-truck they leased for four years from Penske.
It's pretty common now days on big commercial trucks.
