Did a little modification

On the new used loader bucket the previous
modifier of the bucket made it so when the bucket
was attached to the loader there would be about 6
inches between bucket and the loader quick attach
plate so then all the force would be taken up by the
loader bucket adapter plate allowing the bucket to
twist the attaching plate when the bucket would hit
uneven ground . I had to cut the one side of bucket
attaching plate off because it wasn?t wide enough to
let the adapter fit up against the back of the bucket.

I wish we were neighbors. I'd hire you to finish my snow plow. I'm working on making a snow plow to bolt to Kubota's front bucket. I want plow to be hinged with no down pressure from loader. I want to attach a pipe to the bottom of the snow plow so it will float over frozen ground and not get into the gravel.

I've already made a proto-type using metal and wood. It works. By replacing the 2x10x8 with metal that should produce enough down force to do a better job. My proto-type will push snow from yard and not disturb the grass. My goal is to remove snow without disturbing gravel. Remove most of the snow, the sun will remove the rest.

Glad you got an out of jail card. What did it cost you?? Happy New Year.

George: If you pinned the plow to the loader arms and used a slip link for the bucket cylinders to the plow frame you would have the float you want and be able to lift it from the ground without it hanging downward.
I mounted a pickup blade on the front of an 806 I can lift and angle the blade with it. All from the seat using the Hydraulic valves. I've had it on there for about 15years now.

Sorry SV, I didn't intend to setp on your post. I congraduate you for your creative inventions. I Wish there were more on YT who can think outside the box.

I'll have to post pic of my proto-type so you can see how it works. 2 bolts to bucket, It works.

Try looking up R2 Manufacturing edge tamers. They bolt on to the front cutting edge of a loader bucket and keep it from digging into grass or rocks.

George, you do know that there is a float position on your loader control lever don't you. Just push the lever all the way forward and it will stay there so loader can move independently of the tractor.--------------Loren

With a little work with the old tape measure who ever welded the attaching brackets to the bucket welded one at 12 3/4 inches and the side I cut off at 11 inches which still would have worked but they angled it in at the bottom

No problem at all George you can post whatever you want on my posts . I wish I was closer I?d like to come see all your death machines . I think we?d get a lot great. I had to sell my soul to the devil to come back but I guess it was worth it to get to see what people are doing and I like to post my projects as well.
