can the rods that the touch control levers attach to be pulled out and refurbished

The hand lever that is used to adjust the movement can be taken apart with little effort. Sarts can be returned to operation by welding up worn holes and rod ends. The lifting arms at the box that move implements require much greater disassembly, as they are connected internally to connecting rods. Jim

Carefully using heat and lubrication diss assemble. NOW! IF! the threaded portion breaks cut it off at the place where the large portion of the rod starts.{ CAREFULLY} Drill for 1/4 28 fine thread. Cut a 1/4 inch cold rod steel rod to over length by 2 inches thread 1/4 28 both ends [ one end long enough to bottom in the hole in rod]. Install using either high strength lock tight or epoxy. Then cut off extra on other end so the rod total length is same as original measurement.
The reason I know this works is because I had to do the exact same operation to my control rods.
