Hi guys,last week I posted about
getting it home,I ended up renting a
temporary plate from a towing
company,but aside from that,the guy I
bought it from didn't know what engine
it has,so I am trying to figure that
out.I thought it was a 6.9 because as
far as I know the 7.3idi came out in
88,and I also checked the vin#,which
comes up as 6.9,but I know that does't
really guarantee anything,because it
could have been swapped.the sticker on
the valve cover is faded,so I can't
read it,I did check the head
bolts,which have 1/2" heads,which
leads me to believe it's a 7.3.is
there any other way to
