John Deere 1070 tractor 1998

Looking at a 1998 1070 with loader and cab. 190 hours been stored inside . will be looking at it dec. 13. I don.t like tractors that have been sitting . Any advice, Pro and cons. thanks Ron

Those were still a Yanmar based unit. Those are extremely reliable in general ! We have an older 750 model. Some parts items are getting hard to get for them however. As long as it was stored inside and some maintenance done I'd not be afraid of it.

Being stored inside would not make me afraid of it. As long as the oils are not milky and it starts there should be nothing wrong with it due to sitting.

Inside-outside doesn't make a significant difference. It is superficial only, and affects only the shininess. Unless the building is tight with a dehumidifier it can get just as much water inside the housings as it would outside.
