Have a jar of anti-seize that has been left open for years and is
starting to dry out. Anybody have a suggestion what to mix with it to
bring it back to a smooth state.

Showcrop is correct. Put about 1/4 of a cup and let it stew or a day or two.
Gently stir with a screw driver. You want a creamy consistency. Mineral oil I
think you can pick up a small jar in some drug stores. Also check a paint store
, the old fashioned kind. You only need a little.
 
I had a bottle that looked like the oil had separated a bit from the paste and it looked and smelled just like gear oil. I don't really think it matters, probably just add something to make it slick and more fluid.
