Hello we are looking to buy a new roadside mowing tractor and we are looking at a Kubota m-6 or m-7 there are not many in finger lakes area if any one had one and how well are they holding up any honest comments would be welcome thank you jim

Hi, we have an M-6 S 111 (not really an M6 but sort of) and our neighbours have an M7-151 and they?re both great tractors. I?ve heard nothing but praise for kubota warranty. The regent is a bit of an annoyance at least on the 111 as when it?s time for a regen it will beep and flash at you at lower rpm and want you to park it for 10 minutes so it can do it. If your running it over 1/2 throttle most of the time you shouldn?t have any issues.

Hi Jim, I have a M6 141 that I bought new two years ago.

This is the third Kubota tractor that I have bought new, I also have a 135, about the same size, just the early series.
The M6 141 does need the DEF as part of the emissions control system. This tractor has now 1200 hours and I have had zero problems with the tractor. And the regen/DEF system hasn?t ever been a issue. While using the tractor, if it does a reburn, there is no loss of power, and you don?t even know it is happening, only flashing light on control telling you. I use the tractor in the picture to cut and bales hay on my Dairy farm, as well as spread manure, ploughs, cultivation, and bale handling. These tractors start very well in cold weather in South Central Ontario, which is just to the north of the finger lakes, in Canada. My one word of advice about these tractors or any larger 4wd tractor is the same... get the front fenders!! Cost a bit, but if you are going to be doing road side cutting, you will be out on days when it could come up a rain. And driving at road speed, the water/mud from front tires will soon cover the tractors side widows, and it is nearly impossible to see left to right at intersections.
I also like the Kubota 3 pth mower in the picture, works very well. And not a big deal to hook and unhook to this tractor, with extendable three point lift arms, and remote hydraulic controls at rear of tractor, piece of cake !!
