Tonight?s project. Could use a little help

My wife and son were in the next town over when she calls me and says she has no brakes! I took her the truck and I drove the car home using the emergency brake to stop! Fun times. So I know I?ve got to replace the brake line to the wheel. I?m gone go ahead and do both front wheels. The problem is I noticed a growling noise every time I turned to the right. If I turn left it stops. I?m thinking I have a bad wheel Bering at the same wheel. What do you guys think?

Could be the left wheel bearing like you suspect. Usually the right wheel bearing is the first to go. Now is the time to check both sides

I assume the growling noise is while driving, usually 25+mph. Turning or changing lanes is usually how I tell what side is making noise, just like you did. I would definitely look at the LF hub bearing and the others too.

Very easy to check each bearing and determine which one is noisy.
