Hello all!
Another quick question about my John Deere 3020. Not sure which lever engages the PTO. There are 2 that look alike one each side of the instrument cluster. I have been told one is the PTO, and the other is for cold weather starting. Apparently it sort of "separates" the engine from transmission to allow just the engine to crank over. Wondering, just to make sure, so I don't cause any issues, or end up breaking something, which side is/should the PTO engagement lever on? Left or right sitting on the seat?
The serial number tag has SNT113PO74333R on it. I've read the "SN" is, I guess kinda obviously, serial number. The "T" means Basic Tractor. 1= 3020. 1= Row Crop. 3= Diesel. "P"= Power Shift. 074333= actual serial number. And "R"= Manufactured at Waterloo, Iowa.
Thanks!
