How do you attach the brake drum and the bearing spacer #H422R onto the axle? I had to use a puller to take them off.

IIRC Brake drum just slides on up to a snap ring. The spacer ? or what the oil seal rides on needs sealer on where it sits on the axle and then just drive it on tight to the drum.

Mike---Thanks for your response. The drum seems really, really tight and doesn't seem to want to "slide on". Do I just pound it on or do I need to heat it?
I assume the spacer # H422R has the beveled side facing in---is this correct?
Thanks for your help as I am new at this.

I guess I don't remember how tight those drums are ? As long as it isn't burred up just drive it on. That spacer should have the bevel so as it aids in the oil seal lip sliding up over it as you put it all together. I forgot the bearing cone goes on there too doesn't it ?

Thanks again for your help. I got the drum on and now will try the spacer. The bearing cone is pressed into the case.
