Corn fodder

Here's a downside of no-til. Yesterday's high wind brought this around our house. The wind was strong enough to blow over an empty semi on US 30 as well as breaking off some power poles. I only thought I was done with leaves.

We have an inground house, the back side of the roof is 3 feet off the ground. I am real familiar with corn stalks blowing over the house, and then being sucked back into the front porch. AS long as it is not snow I am happy!

Ok... But if it was tilled, you?d have likely had the bare soil blowing, and collecting like that. I?m thinking the blown fodder is better.
