Got plowed today

Was sitting at a stoplight and a city snow plow came by and clipped me. Said the side plow settled down on him. Was the first time out for his new truck.

I was in the right lane and he went past me. I took this last pic as I pulled up behind him.

Been a tough day so far and not done yet.

Hope your day gets better Jon. As a plow truck driver I bet he had it lowered so he could see better at the intersection. Just my guess and my co worker drives around with his hanging down and I holler at him on the radio. I have only wiped out 2 mailboxes so far and that?s enough. They used to have a wing man riding along in our township years ago . I just got my wing mounted about a month ago and it?s working so far and my welds are holding. Last pic is my co workers bad day last year that road is a lot steeper than it looks in the pic and it was covered in ice. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

About the same amount of damage that I did to the boss's old Nissan pickup yesterday when I ran into it with the right half of the snow blower on the Unimog.

Interesting. I've never seen a side plow. All we have are front mounted. They have to go off the road to actually hit a mailbox.

KL, My Super Dan with 2 wings on our back roads. He liked it said it kept him centered on the back roads. Picture is him opening up a seasonal road that I plow till December. Has to be reopened by April 1.

Was a city truck, so I imagine the city pays. They gave me info on their self insurance.

Pete, No but Sidney isn?t to far away. I used to work out of Otego doing concrete and excavation for 20 years. All 4 guys retired that worked for the town of Westford in 2017 so thought it would be a good place to finish out my life. Lol
