Got up for a few drone pictures just before the sun rose this morning. Nice quiet morning in the 20s after last night's new snow.

(quoted from post at 08:21:08 11/25/19) What area of sask. are you in.
Southeast, some call it East central. The part they referred to as the parklands before all the efficiency experts cleared out most of the trees.

I think that's him in the yard between the house and power pole.Maybe the dog is sitting at his feet. BTW,BEAUTIFUL!

I see windrows under the snow in the upper right.. Is that unthreshed wheat? Will it have to sit till spring?

(quoted from post at 08:28:08 11/25/19) Very Nice. Ritchie Bros had a land auction a week or so ago at Lipton was that any where near you.
Yes, I drive by some of that farm land on the way to work quite frequently. Will be interesting to see if it sold , or who to.
Yes, I am in the photo. A "selfie".

Some drone video that a friend shot back the end of August. It shows some of the land around my area and in a few scenes you can see me swathing canola with the
JD2360 swather. I did not know he was in the area shooting video. That big old gambrel roofed barn is nearby and is way older than me.

A neighbour's canola. I expect it will be there til spring. Not sure how much is left in it as it got the same hail storm that wrote off my oat field in September.

The lane coming up to your yard. Is that your private driveway? Or is it public owned up to your yard? Who maintains it? What distance are you from a public road?

Thats my half mile driveway and anything that needs doing is done by me. From grass cutting to graveling and snow removal.

Great photos from the drone. Great video from your friend also. sure gives a good contrast from
different seasons of the year.

A few more nights and it will be down in the teens and then your grain will be dry enough to combine, LOL.

Just amazing, Rusty. Seems your talents with cameras and drones could get you extra income if you needed that.

To others who may wonder, it is easy to find Rusty's place looking from a satellite view and compare the satellite to his photos. I've been able to follow where he goes with his car and truck trips. I've been able to do that with places of other folks on here too.

The Saskatchewan countryside looks very much like the North Dakota area around where I grew up in Towner County.

Thanks Ron. I'm just doing it for amusement. Same as the youtube videos. No ads or monetization there (yet).
