Wheel weights.

These are more like weights made out of Barbie jeep wheels and concrete. Each weighs 75#.
I'll be reminded tonight I shouldn't have lifted them

Combined with.my pie weight and hitch I estimate I have 600# ballast.

I think it's will remind me that I may be close to the limit I should be attending to lift without out damaging loader.

Before I added ballast the rear wheels would come off the ground.

No wheel weights. No plans to tire ballast. I want to keep this girl on a diet. She's going to be my lawn mower next year.

You will damage neither the three point lift nor the FEL of your new Kubota by attempting to lift more than it's capacity.

This is why such systems have relief valves.

That said, once lifted, careless, in combination with a heavy load, can result in damage.

A factory weight box and a 3 pt quick hitch would make your life a lot easier and secure. Just saying.

I put water and antifreeze in my Kubota rears.
It makes a huge difference.
I also put my Bush Hog on to move logs.
Used it yesterday morning and this afternoon.

I have to have an idea how much is just enough weight.

I made this for neighbor so he could lift round bales. I estimate it weighs 2x more and the weight extends further back.

I feel I'm being conservative and careful.

Way more than I've ever been with my terramites.

Why do people take a nice machine, loaad it way over capacity to do tasks bigger machines are made for?
Thats how stuff breaks and people get hurt.
Not trying to sound mean but its fact

If the Kubota can't do half what my terramites can do, what good is having 2x the hp. diesel and cost 3x more?
I feel anyone leaving anything with wheels and a motor outside is abuse.
I've pushed my terramites to their limits and yet to damage them.
I used terramite to deliver a 55 gallon concrete rear ballast to neighbor. No damage. but decided that's the limit for lifting.

I'll never do that with the Kubota.

BTW rear ballast is better than tire ballast or wheel weights which can't remove weight off front wheels and from axle.

Dean.
I don't think many on YT understand the Physics behind rear ballast. Most think the solution is adding wheel weights or fluid in tires.

Wheel weights and fluid in tires will actually put a greater stress on front end, spindles, front tires.

Rear ballast transfers weight from front wheels to rear wheels.

As long as I don't exceed 3 pt ratings I can't see causing any damage.
