There is still alot of beans standing around here. We had 2 days of clouds and drizzle but today it was was just cloudy and I seen someone cutting but going slow. We ran corn in the rain the last few days and finished tonight. Got one big load on the semi to unload yet.

You did not say where you are and sure do not want to make you feel bad , but in 56 years I have never had a harvest like this. Been done with beans and corn now over two weeks and over the harvest only missed one day for a 1/2 inch rain. No mud or moisture, just so easy. Middle Tennessee. Hope it drys up where you guys can get it out, getting late for sure.

There's about 50 acres of beans across the road from me and probably a couple of hundred just to the south that haven't been touched yet. A guy a couple miles west of me has ground all over the area. Saturday his semis were hauling past her until after I went to bed at 11:00 and they're running again tonight. Think it's supposed to rain again tonight and tomorrow.

Southern MN here, this has been one of the most trying years of farming in my lifetime, late winter, cold wet wet wet wet summer, wet fall, wet now.

I finally got beans done a week ago, trying to finish up corn. My beans settled at 17.5% moisture and stayed there. Took the third hard frost before they dropped into the 13-15% area and I could go, then it snowed 2 days later and I had to combine beans in mud, snow, frozen ground, and all combinations.

The cold weather and wet crop and some coop mismanagement combined to make lines at my local coop over 2 hour wait all fall, so we couldnt haul but 1/3 the normal grain in a day, so harvest is going 3x as long just for that.

Spring was bad too, rain and mud, we would get 8 hour periods twice a week it was dry enough to do something, planted corn into June and beans the last 2 weeks of June.

What a long year.

Got a long day of corn left, and lots of tillage. Supposed to rain tonight, freeze tomorrow. See if I ever get to the finish line.

neighbor here in Hickman Co. got the last of his corn down today; beans still untouched.

We are getting close to the end 800 acres left.this year has been tough.
A record year and hard on nerves.
Looks like its nation wide too

West central Iowa here, finished the 16, last Saturday. Outstanding yields and 15.9% moisture. 21% when we started. Soybeans however, another story low yields. A struggle this year to get it done.

I did one hopper of corn last weekend and it is still very wet. I didn't test it but it stands up tall in the bin, I'm guess mid to upper 20's for %. Very hard to get off the cob this year. The corn I planted has very large cobs, many with 22 and 24 rows of kernels, and very tapered cobs. If I open the concave enough to not crush the cobs I loose the end kernels. If I close it down I get ground cobs and kernels. Had to get a new drive belt for the combine that came in last night, so maybe get more done this weekend.

Got about 70acres of beans left and 180 of corn. Yes it has been a slow wet fall. Normally we are about done by now. Usually finish up by Thanksgiving day.

I haven?t battled weather as much as the machine. This year I?ve been lucky to get more than one semi of beans cut a day before something needs attention. I?m down to 50 acres of beans left and broke the wobble box on the combine. It should be in tomorrow but it rained pretty good last night. I?m not sure how the first wobble box lasted 20 years and the second only lasted 3. I sure hope this one lasts. It?s not like I bought some used or cheap box three years ago - it came right from Deere. No fluid leaks or anything - she just locked up right and smoked the belt. I?ve sworn this combine was going to last me until I retired but I?m not so sure.

Got down to 10 acres of corn left, yesterday day was finally a nice day to get some corn out, the line at the elevator was gone. Rained a quarter inch last night very mushy out but it is dropping temp fast, will be froze in the morning for a while.

Is your corn light test weight too, most is coming off very light here, 54# is the heavy stuff so far.
