Farm Pro /Jinma

Ok; Probably openin a can o worms here but I'm lookin
at a 2003 farm pro 30 hp 4x4 tractor /front end loader
with a scraper blade and a trailer to haul it on.
The owner is askin fer $7500 I think that is steep but I am
a cheepo type I am a hobby farmer and this is the right size for my needs, I love my 8n but it's limitations can be a real pain at times.
I also have a 1971 680 CK loader backhoe that is waaaay more than I need for my place that I got for a song, and considering a trade or selling it and buying that or something in that size category.
Just thinkin aloud here and hopin fer not too brutal opinions..

Everyone I know who has had them either didn't have them long or parked em in the tree line. Terrible reputation both for breakdowns and parts are known to be hard to come by. I would not buy one with your money.

Got an 8N? Got implements for it? Spend a little more and find a Kubota or Deere, compact tractor that can use the implements you already have.

You said not be to brutal so I will be nice and just say two thing , not worth the price and forget
it.

In nice terms, close eyes, raise hand, slap your
face, and say what was i thinkin?
There is 1 at a shop near me hood up.fuel filters
plugged up n nobody has 1 that fits that
particular tractor.
I suggested to install a snap on filter like
stanadyne makes

Agreed - they were extremely cheap back when they were new (2000-2004). I remember Homier Tools (basically a cheap version of Harbor Freight - selling from a tent) had them sitting out on display. The guy is trying screw you over at $7500. For that reason alone I wouldn't even consider it - much less the fact that the tractor's real market value is probably around $2000 or less.

Just sold a 2005 2524 4wd Farm Pro with koker loader on it for over $6,000.00 last fall at auction. I took the money and ran. Had rebuilt the front wheel drive twice. Only had 1200 hours on it. All I can say is The loader was nice. Has been replaced with a Kubota 3560 with loader and cab.
