Final update flipping carb/stuck engine. It?s alive!

First of all I want to say thank you to all you guys that helped through this project! Your knowledge and patience it awesome. I also want to thank my dad. He?ll be 87 in the spring and I had a hard time getting him to take a break from working on this with me! For all you guys that either said I needed to check my ignition or said there was nothing wrong with the carb that?s a winner winner chicken dinner! The carb was in fact good to go, the problem was that dummy me had the spark plugs wired opposite of what they should have been as some of you saw in the picture. Once I fixed that two revolutions of the engine and she kick right off and ran great! My dad said he wished he had a camera because I look like I was in shock when it stared that easy! So from a tractor that could have gone the the scrap yard to a running machine that with a little more work is ready to go back into service I?m pretty proud! Here?s what we did: New sleeve and rings on cylinder 3, Head reworked with new seats and valves, carb rebuild kit, new gaskets and belts, new wiring, New sediment bowl, points condenser rotor distributor. The only thing left for now is the charging system. I need to know for sure how the alternator should be wired into the system. Thanks again guys!
