Working With The 2140

Catching up on a few jobs with the JD 2140 today. No "cold start" as it had warmed up into the 20s today and I still plugged in the block heater. Had to pick up a
couple of big round bales that hadn't tied properly so I pushed them as far into the bucket as I could, got two chains and cable winch around each one and took a
long, slow drive to get them back to the yard without dropping or damaging one. Got a little chain sawing time in too clearing dead trees that were going to
eventually fall on the fence line.

The orange pipe you refer to is the hammer mill that has shown up in some of my videos over the years. The pipe is from the old Case, hence the colour. But the mill has been replaced by an even older IH hammer mill that the Case pipe just happens to fit. I fire it up everytime I need to grind some oats for cattle feed.
