I have a 544 utility with a loader on it and I also have a snow blower on the back -- the blower has a hyd. spout! the 544 only has 2 sets of outlets -- sure would be nice to turn the spout with the hyd,s -- I saw an electric over hyd. thing that would work , but boy them things is spendy ! any idea's on what else i could use? I've had a couple manual flow diverters, one was lever activated, the other had a push/pull knob to divert flow to one set of outlets or the other. Probably not as handy as the electric valve but worked good for not a lot of money. Some older fold frame planters used them for the fold function which was only used when folding the planter for transport. You may be able to find one in a bone yard.

Put in what I call a power divider valve.
Two pressure lines in, 4 out, two to bucket,
other two to couplers/blower chute.
By pulling/pushing a
knob, you tell which hyd thing to happen.
Not sure that's the proper name of the valve, tho.

There you go....manual flow dividers.
I think I have seen those in the Lincoln
surplus catalogue.

About your manual flow valves - which one did you like the best? The lever operated one or the push-pull?

Whatever you do, you're going to be doing some plumbing. Maybe, rather than going the diverter/divider, or multiplier route, it would be no more work, or money, to follow your title in the first place. Have you studied/determined/researched adding a simple spool valve to any "power beyond" feature from your existing valve?

Let me say up front I dont know anything about moving snow. If the spout turns fairly easy what about one of the little motors used to lift a small dump bed. The ones on a golf cart/utv. They are just 12v dc. A rocker switch controls direction.

The push/pull knob one was smaller (advantage) and I made a bracket to just hang it back behind the seat. It worked well until the plastic knob broke off and it became a vice-grip activated valve (disadvantage). The lever one was mounted to the planter tongue and was a little bigger and stronger. Both worked well.

Thank you for your comments - I need to add one of those valves to my tractor, and I wondered about the plastic knob. I think I'll go with the lever option.

It should be possible (though not stock) to add a third valve to the stack using longer bolts. Wasn't a factory option so you'd have to figure out how to rig up the third control lever.

Time all is said and done it may be less to go with the electric splitter valve.
