Made some more Progress on the
fence this weekend. Had some
help from 3 of my grandsons,
Devon, my oldest grandson who
is 17, Jordan is also 17 and
Gage who is 12. Had to start
with breakfast, they sure put
the hurt on the all you can
eat breakfast at the local
cafe. Lol

We got the rest of the old
fence out and the rest of the
posts in for the new fence.
The DC worked good for pulling
the posts out and pushing the
steel posts back in straight
and in line.

Took about all she had to push those posts in in my clay tho. Lol

All the parts you can see from the yard will be 4-2x6 wood fence and gates. The rest is 4 Barb wire. It isn't any grampa love fence, but it is not too bad considering a lot of it is reused posts.

All the posts are all in and the wire is done on 4 runs, three runs to string wire yet, but that will have to wait for a while.

Next weekend I'll likely start working on corn harvest if the weather is good. Been putting that off hoping the corn dries down some. Tried to do a little plowing today, but the ground was froze too hard. If it warms up next week I may get some more done.

Worked great! Next time I'll take a couple extra of the sliding parts from other clamps to hold it centered.

Looking good! Ain't gonna break the bank either like some of the fancy fences we do. 90% of the fence at my house was recycled from fences we removed for customers. I'm all for saving money at home!!

Can I rent the grandkids? I got a lot of fence rebuilding needs doing. A bunch of sheep and goats can do a number on woven wire fence. Not to mention three Scotish Highlanders, and a couple llamas.
