New one for me.

I passed through Arkansas and Southeast Missouri today and noticed they had harvested cotton and rolled it like hay. The last time I saw cotton harvested it was put in trailers with wire sides.

There are 4 bales in each roll. John Deere says their next line of cotton pickers will cost one million dollars. I still have a one row John Deere 22 cotton picker.
Corn had pushed cotton out here in Louisiana for several years but with the prices like they are and the knew breeds of cotton making up to four bales to the acre, cotton is starting to make a come back.
Old times here are not forgotten!
