Spring Wheat-Spring Harvest

With the early onset of winter here there might be a few acres besides mine, of spring wheat that get harvested next spring. I have this sample my dad saved from the 1951 crop. It laid in the swath all winter and they harvested it in mid April of 1952. I think I have already posted pictures of the combine and tractors. But this is the actual wheat sample. Thatcher variety. It was 11% moisture and still looked pretty good.

Rusty6, Still looks good all these years later in the jar. Wonder if it would still grow like some of the seeds they found in the pyramids?
