crushed front cab mounts 95 dodge cummins

Other then rebuilding the cab mount and surrounding area NO or you could start looking for a donor cab . No magic pill here . Like me i have frame issues with my 95 and have not had free time to do the repairs . But what ever you do it will cost far less then a new Dodge / Ram what ever will cost . Last one i looked at was a left over 17 model and there were 54728 and change reasons why i did not jump on it . And that did not include interest or sales taxes.

One of my friends at the AAA place told me about his buddy who owns a contract business. His work truck is a Ford F-350 long bed club cab King Ranch loaded with the Diesel engine. Something like a cool 93K. That is a small house on a set of wheels.

Ya shouda got a Ford with the 6.0. You would have had the cab off 3 times by now to work on the motor.

On my Ford wood hauling special I raised the cab up so the doors worked and support the cab from the upper cowl vertically down to the frame. This is easy on my Ford as it has a nice pinch weld with a lip. Not sure how your Dodge is made in cowl area so might not be as easy as Ford.

When I did my Dodge over 4 years ago those weren't available.I had a bad frame,so I found a good one and stripped the truck to replace it.The nice frame I found was from an extra cab,but mine was a regular,so I had to cut a foot out of the middle and reposition the rear cab hangers on the frame.I stripped all the riveted hangers, and any riveted crossmembers.I blasted and treated everything before I put it back together. My cab mounts were bad,and I was going to fix them before remounting the cab. But,I found a better cab that just needed rockers. If I could have bought those cab mounts back then I probably would have fixed it.One good thing about the Dodge compared to other makes,is that the cabs are all made alike.Gas,diesel, instead of making a different cab to clear different engines and transmissions they just make bigger mounting pads. The wiring harnesses look like a nightmare, but they are all plug in,and you just can't put them in wrong. It took me about three weeks, but that same Cummins powered truck with the aluminum flatbed and plow was $64,500 My father said that is the most money you'll ever make in three weeks.
